Your roadmap from first call to signed contract with BEC Innovations.
We know that starting a renovation can feel overwhelming. That’s why we’ve built a clear and structured sales process to help you feel confident from the very first step. Here’s what to expect:
- Initial Contact
Once you fill out our online form or reach out to us directly, our sales team is notified right away. We aim to respond quickly to get the ball rolling.
- Discovery Call or Email
We’ll reach out to learn more about your project. We’ll ask about your goals, timeline, budget, and whether you have any inspiration photos to share.
- Documentation Added to Your File
Any photos or notes from our conversation get added to your customer file so we have everything in one place. This helps us keep your project organized and moving forward.
- Follow-Up
You’ll hear from us again to clarify any outstanding questions and confirm details before we provide pricing.
- Budget Provided
Based on your photos, answers, and goals, we’ll create a preliminary budget. This includes allowances for things like cabinetry, flooring, or finishes. This is very high level and based on experience from other projects, but we are very often right on the money for the range. We need to make sure that our expected budget matches with your expected investment, which is why we are talking about money so up-front.
- Set up On Site Meeting with your Salesperson
Once we’ve verified that your expected investment matches our budget, we set up an on site meeting with your salesperson to see the space. We try to schedule these meetings within ~1 week of the first call if possible.
- Complete On Site Meeting with your Salesperson
Meet with your salesperson to evaluate access, talk through your ideas and inspiration, offer suggestions for how to maximize the renovation and point out any potential red flags. This meeting is usually around an hour on site, in your space. No, we don’t care if you’ve cleaned or not!
- A Formal Estimate is Compiled
Now that we’ve seen the space, taken some measurements, allowed our trade partners to weigh in and evaluated allowances and lead times, an estimate is compiled.
- Estimate is Reviewed with the Client and your Salesperson
A meeting is set up to review the estimate with the client in real time. We want to answer any off-the-bat questions and allow you to speak freely.
- Questions are Answered and Adjustments Made to Estimate
If changes are required to the proposal based on this conversation, those changes can be made on the spot. If additional coordination is required, an additional day or two may be required for turn around. Once the scope is clear and finalized, the proposal is sent to the client.
- Proposal is Finalized and Signed
When all parties have verified the scope and description, proposal should be signed. This can be done electronically with our JobTread software. All additional documentation will be handled in the JobTread software for signatures.
- Contract is Signed
Once you’re comfortable with the scope and numbers, we’ll send over a contract for signature. From there, we’ll get you scheduled with our Project Manager to kick off the next phase!
- Deposit Invoice is Sent
Rusty will send a deposit invoice for ~20% of the total contract value. This allows us to hold your position in the schedule and order preliminary materials.
At BEC Innovations, we believe the sales process should be as organized and transparent as the renovation itself. If you’re ready to explore your bathroom, kitchen, or addition project, reach out today or try our price guide calculator to get started.
