How to Pay for Services at BEC Innovations

by | Dec 4, 2025

At BEC Innovations, we believe in clear communication—especially when it comes to money. Home renovation is a big investment, and how you pay for your project shouldn’t be a mystery or a headache. That’s why we’ve created this simple guide to how payments work around here.

Whether you’re tackling a large remodel or just need a few small updates, here’s what you need to know about paying for services at BEC Innovations.

Accepted Forms of Payment

We accept the following payment methods:
– All major credit and debit cards
– ACH bank transfers (a.k.a. direct payments from your checking account)
– Checks (mailed or dropped off at our office)

We make it easy to pay online through the secure payment link included in every invoice, or you can swing by with a check if that’s more your style. Either way, we’re happy to accommodate what works best for you. Please note that we cannot accept cash or money order payments.

A Note About Financing

While BEC Innovations does not offer in-house financing, we understand that clients may be looking for payment flexibility. Each invoice includes a link to a third-party lender, provided through our project management software. Please note: this lender is entirely unaffiliated with BEC Innovations. If you choose to apply for financing, you will be working directly with the third-party lender, and BEC will not have any involvement in your application, approval, terms, or repayment. We will never contact the lender on your behalf or manage any part of your agreement.

Processing Fees (Let’s Talk About It)

We’re upfront about how payment processing fees work—because transparency is important. These fees are what our payment processors charge us—and instead of raising our overall prices for everyone, we simply pass along those fees only when they apply.

– For credit or debit card payments over $1,000, a 3% processing fee will be added to your invoice.
– For ACH bank transfers, we apply a 1% processing fee, capped at $20 max per transaction.
– Checks have no processing fees.

Returned Check Policy
Checks returned for insufficient funds, closed accounts, or any other reason will incur a $30.00 returned check fee, as permitted under Tennessee Code Annotated § 47-29-102. This fee will be added to the outstanding balance and must be paid in full before work can resume or future payments are accepted. We reserve the right to refuse accepting checks as a payment method. If you anticipate any issues with payment, please contact us in advance—we’re happy to work with you.

Due Dates and Late Fees

All invoices are due upon receipt, which helps us keep your project moving and it’s schedule on track.

We offer a three-day grace period for payment. After that, a 5% late fee will be added to the balance due.

That said, we know life happens. If you need more time or want to set up a payment arrangement, just reach out and let us know!

Final Thoughts

We’re committed to making the renovation process as smooth and transparent as possible, from the initial project consultation and conceptual budget tailored to your vision to the final invoice. You shouldn’t have to guess what’s due, when it’s due, or how to pay it.

We don’t take trusting us with your home lightly and we appreciate the opportunity to make the process feel a little less like a guessing game and a lot more like a partnership.
